Hackathon Fulda enters its seventh round in 2025!
The Hackathon Fulda in a new design!
The event has grown a lot since we started seven years ago. Cooler challenges, more sponsors and instead of one half of Hall 8, we now need both because so many of you want to take part.
It was therefore high time that we also developed visually.
Redesign by former hackathon participants
The kaleidos:code GmbH team, which took part in Hackathon Fulda in 2021 even before it was founded, now consists of 9 creative minds. A real hackathon success story...
Reason enough for us, Region Fulda GmbH and the district of Fulda, to bring the start-up on board and give the Hackathon Fulda a new visual look.

H for Hackathon
The starting point is the first letter of the word hackathon.
Isometric View
The H is set to an isometric view, which is also reflected in the design of the website: It is reminiscent of the window look typical of early operating systems with hard edges and shadows at a 45° angle.
Tag brackets with a slash
Hackathon involves hacking and coding. Tag brackets are often used as a classic code symbol and form the letter H in the logo. In negative space, the slash is created by the separation.
Pixels
The H is placed on a square basic shape. From the pixel to the window to the display: with the help of digital technology, which mostly takes place on our square end devices, we are working on solutions for real challenges.

The perfect font for the new appearance of the Hackathon:

Inter
for continuous texts
Rasmus Andersson's ‘Inter’, originally developed for computer screens, is used for continuous text.
It has a high x-height to make it easier to read mixed and small text.
